How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy is for anyone seeking healing, growth and better management of the following:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Stress, challenging life events, career burnout or general feelings of being overwhelmed

  • Persistent physical symptoms, such as chronic pain, restlessness, tension, insomnia or difficulty relaxing

  • Avoidance, hyper-vigilance, impulsiveness, flashbacks, fear, anger, loneliness or guilt

  • Grief and loss

  • Struggles with relationships, divorce or general feelings of disconnection from others

  • Prehabilitation or preparation for medical procedures

Do you offer in-person or telehealth appointments?

Both are available. In-person sessions are conducted at my Pasadena, CA office. Online telehealth sessions are also offered by request.

How long are therapy sessions?

Typical therapy sessions are 50 minutes long.

How frequently should I go to therapy?

This is highly dependent on the client and their goals, but most individuals start with weekly therapy and increase or decrease their frequency as they proceed through their therapeutic journeys. The most optimal cadence is best determined collaboratively between client and therapist.

What type of therapy do you practice?

I primarily work with adults using an integrated approach that combines Object Relations Therapy with Somatic Experiencing. This approach allows for a more comprehensive therapeutic focus on both psychological and somatic states, and has proven to be a more effective path for healing and fostering personal change.
