Welcome! I’m Angela. Since 2000, I have had the privilege of working with adults throughout the Los Angeles metro area with mental health concerns.
Throughout my career as a psychologist, I have been drawn to working with people with a special focus on trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship struggles. I see therapy as a vehicle for change by helping clients identify thoughts, habits and emotional patterns that are no longer serving them. By understanding the effects of their past experiences on their present lives, I work collaboratively to cultivate new ways to move through adversities so that life can be more effortless and enjoyable.
My educational experience includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and a Doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. I have extensive clinical experience through my work with the UCLA Autism Project, Airport Marina Counseling Service, Dorothy Kirby Center, Enki Health & Research Systems and Glendale Adventist Hospital.
In 2019, I completed a 3-year postgraduate program through the Somatic Experiencing International Institute (SEI) and became a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).
